◆Before you start: Your brand adds you first. Watch for an invite email with the subject "You're invited to" and your brand's name (for example, "You're invited to Luba").
Open your invite email
- Find the email from your brand. The heading reads "Start your onboarding".
- Tap the Start onboarding button in the email.
- You'll land on a page that shows your email and "Role: Brand Ambassador". Take a moment to read it if you like.
- Tap Start onboarding on that page to begin. (Just opening the page doesn't use up your invite. It's only accepted when you tap this button.)
Sign in with your email and a code
There's no password, ever. You sign in with your email and a 6-digit code each time.
- Go to the sign-in page and find the Email field.
- Type your email and tap Email me a sign-in code.
- You'll see a message that a code has been sent. Open your email and find the 6-digit code.
- Type the code into the six boxes. When all six are filled, it signs you in on its own.
- If you'd rather, tap Verify & sign in after entering the code.
Finish your setup
Once you're in, the app walks you through a few quick steps. You'll see "Progress saved — you can leave and pick up here anytime." at the top, so you can stop and come back whenever you need to.
- On the welcome screen, tap Get started.
- Sign your agreement. First, accept the Longboard Platform Terms: type your full legal name, check both boxes, and tap Accept & continue. Then read your brand's agreement, type your name, check both boxes, and tap Sign agreement.
- Add your details. Fill in your name, mobile number, and shipping address (this is where your tasting kit gets sent). Tap Continue.
- Pick where you'll work. Add the areas you want to work so the right shifts show up. Tap Continue, or tap Skip for now — use 50 mi from home to use the default.
- Add your payment details. Confirm how you'll get paid, then tap the finish button at the bottom (Confirm & finish, or Certify & finish if a tax form is asked for).
Wait for approval
- After you finish, you'll see "You're all set!" and a "Pending review" card that says approval usually happens within a day.
- A real person on your brand team reviews your setup. You can't see or claim tastings until they approve you.
- Tap Refresh status to check. Once you're approved, you'll be sent to your dashboard and your tabs unlock.
Put the app on your phone's home screen
Adding the app to your home screen makes it faster to open on tasting days.
- On Android, look for an Install app button and tap it.
- On iPhone, open the app in Safari, tap the Share button, then tap Add to Home Screen.
☀ Good to know
- You'll never need a password. Every sign-in is the same: enter your email, get a 6-digit code by email, type it in. Codes can take a minute or two, so check your spam folder if it's slow.
- On the sign-in page, skip the "Start onboarding →" link. That link is for brands creating an account, not for you. If you were invited, use the button in your invite email, or just sign in with your email.
- "Continue" only saves your progress. You are not submitted for approval until you tap the finish button on the payment step. So take your time, leave, and come back as often as you need.
- Typing your name is your signature. When you type your full legal name and check both boxes, that counts as your legal signature, and it's recorded.
- Approval is done by a person, not automatically. After you finish, your setup sits at "Pending review" until a manager on your brand team clears you. Use Refresh status to see when you're approved.
- If your account moved over from your brand's old system, most of this is already done for you. You'll just see a "Welcome back" screen with nothing to set up.
⚑ If something’s not working
- No code arrived in your email.
- Wait a minute or two and check your spam folder. The "code sent" message shows even if your email isn't set up yet, so if nothing comes, your brand may not have added you. Reach out to your brand team.
- Your invite link says it expired.
- Invite links only last a few days. If yours expired, just go to the sign-in page and request an email code instead.
- The code didn't work.
- Double-check you typed it correctly, or tap Resend code for a fresh one. If you request a new code, the old one still works too, so enter whichever arrives first. Resend is available again after a short countdown.
- You can't see any tastings yet.
- That's normal until you're approved. Your dashboard tabs stay locked until a manager sets you active. Tap Refresh status to check.
- You landed on a page asking for a "Brand name."
- You tapped the wrong link. Go back and use your invite email, or sign in with your email on the sign-in page.
- A manager asked for a change.
- You'll see "One quick fix needed." Tap Update my details, make the fix, and submit again.
